We started this church to create a space for people who care about community and spiritual stuff but don't really fit in anywhere else. Church outsiders, sometimes heretics (depends who you ask), trying to honestly figure it out. That's me.  Also: Bob Dylan, Soren Kierkegaard, Basketball.

I have a lot more questions than answers when it comes to religion, but I’m certain that exploring them in a community is better than going it alone. That’s what I love about Root and Branch, it’s a space where curiosity and the courage to be real are encouraged. Audre Lorde, Mary Oliver, and The Staple Singers have helped me a lot along the way.
